Karen joined PFM Asset Management in 2018 and currently serves as the Program Administrator for the North Carolina Investment Pool. She is responsible for leveraging the firm’s resources to assist North Carolina local government units as they consider investment options for idle funds and bond proceeds. She also provides training on the structure and use of local government investment pools.

Prior to joining the firm, Karen spent the bulk of her career with an asset management firm where she held roles in mutual fund accounting, investment operations and distribution.

Karen is a member of the North Carolina Government Finance Officers Association and the Women in Public Finance national and Virginia chapters.
